Known
for her straight talk infused with humor, Felice Shays provides personal sexual
and BDSM education counseling in both English and ASL (not at the same time),
and has been featured nationally and internationally in print and on T.V. Felice
has presented at a plethora of events, groups, and private functions including
Black Rose, Pacific Friction, Dark Odyssey, Babeland, LSM, TES, Grand Opening!,
TESFest, Wicked Womyn, KinkFest, Safer SM, Tribal Fire, MOB, Come As You Are
(Toronto), The Exiles, and Desire.
Known to change flat tires while
wearing stilettos, Felice lives in Brooklyn, NY where she also produces sex
and BDSM parties for women and trans people. She has served as the chairperson
of the Lesbian Sex Mafia (LSM), put in a stint as a former long time employee
of Babeland, and worked as a word-whore American Sign Language interpreter.
An accomplished performance artist, Felice has written and performed several
successful and well-received shows including Felice Brutality and PsychoSemitic
which have been produced in NYC, Boston, Toronto, and San Francisco. Her shows
have had her hanging – singing - from the ceiling, lighting the Jewish Sabbath
candles with a blow torch, and fisting watermelons… huh …something akin to her
life off-stage. It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm and we welcome Felice
Shays as a first-time presenter at Thunder in the Mountains. Let’s hope she
