Master Z comes to Thunder In The Mountains with 32 years of lifestyle experience and community involvement. His presentations span across many interest ranges including bondage, suspension, medical play, impact play and sensation play. In 2007 he was awarded the Pantheon of Leather Midwest Regional Award, and he has been active in the Chicago BDSM Community since 1976. His BDSM memberships include CDG, KBA, DNA, D&S, NCSF, Crimson Moon, and the Leather Archives & Museum.

Known for his leadership roles in the community, Master Z is the Co- Founder and President of Leather SINS, NFP (http://www.leathersins.com) and is the Event Director of SINSations In Leather (http://sinsationsinleather.com) and Kinky Kollege, (http://www.kinkykollege.com). He is very proud to have recently been elected to his second term to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. Master Z lives happily in the Chicago area with his 24/7 slave becky. Master Z grew up in the Chicago area and began studying the many facets of the lifestyle at the age of 22. It is with great pleasure that we introduce Master Z to our Thunder in the Mountains 2008 attendees. During his 32 years of experience in nearly all aspects of BDSM, he has acquired and amassed a virtual library of classes he can teach. But the class he has chosen to share with us this summer is one of his favorites---a dynamic, personally motivating, and professionally presented seminar on “Rough Body Play”. In this interactive workshop Master Z will teach us the mechanics of safe body punching, kicking and face slapping, and he will personally instruct all who wish to participate in this hands-on experience. He will explain and demonstrate all aspects of this increasingly popular type of edge play, and anyone with questions is encouraged to ask. This class will explore many of the factors to consider before thinking about doing this type of scene with your submissive including Safety Factors, Preparation, Technique, Placement of Punches & Kicks—“Do’s and Don’ts”, and Aftercare. After the lecture portion of the class Master Z will perform a short Rough Body Play scene followed by a question and answer period.

In this very specialized seminar Master Z offers an easy-to-learn experience into the world of suspension and bondage. In the first part of this presentation he will emphasize the history of suspension, and he will also emphasize safety. Anyone wanting to delve into the world of suspension must be very informed in all aspects of safety, as the total well being of the bottom is usually at risk. In the How-to part of the class Master Z will teach and demonstrate the “Turkey Truss” and show how to bind the bottom from head to toe only using two simple knots. Next Master Z will teach the "Brooklyn Bridge" technique, again using only two knots, and at the end of this part of the demonstration, the sub will finally be completely suspended. Once the total suspension has been accomplished, Master Z will allow time for hands-on participation along with a question and answer period. Included in the class curriculum is a helpful handout, listing all materials and equipment needed along with sources to obtain them. Anyone wishing to learn a very beautiful but ornate suspension scene will most definitely want to attend this seminar.
