Popular, return-presenter, Scott Smith, grew up in the Seattle area of the northwestern United States and began exploring the facets of S&M at a very early age. During his youth Scott thrived on extreme sports and excelled in white water rafting, scuba diving, mountain climbing, free-hand rock climbing, and paramedical rescue. As a result of the powerful physical reactions he developed in these life adventures with nautical and high angle rope work and in conjunction with his creative and rather deviant mind, he enthusiastically developed the many great BDSM techniques he uses today in teaching courses at leather events like Thunder in the Mountains. As both a teacher and a player Scott brings a distinct intensity and passion to the ebb and flow of the lessons he presents and of actualizing BDSM in a manner that is often unforgettable to the audiences who flock to his seminars. Scott ardently believes that the magic of BDSM comes through the connection of the participants, and his workshops readily develop and nurture that connection. But at the same time Scott seems to maintain a decidedly sadistic edginess which fascinates his audiences.

Since the early 90's, he has presented countless workshops and seminars both domestically and internationally for organizations including the Chicago Hellfire Club, GMSMA, Leather University, C-Space, Living in Leather, OCLA, Sampler, Inferno, Thunder in the Mountains, Black Rose, Journeyman Academy, Orlando Bash, UPEX, and Southplains Leatherfest.

Scott has received a number of awards, and says he was extremely honored to be a recipient of the Chicago Hellfire Club’s Caligula award. It is with great excitement and honor that we welcome Scott Smith back to another year at Thunder!

Hair Bondage

“Gimme a head with Hair…Long beautiful hair…Shining, gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen….Then let me tie it, let me bind it, and do things with it that you will never expect. I love hair.” These words, spoken by Scott Smith, demonstrate his enthusiasm and commitment to this seminar. As we all know, Scott pushes the envelope and explores the boundaries in his pursuit of scene play, and this seminar is no exception. Scott will talk about short hair, long hair, hair for pulling, hair for immobilization, hair for predicament, hair for aesthetics, and even hair for suspension. He will tell hos to get ahold of it, how to attach it both safely and so that it will hold, and discuss the many things you can do once you have got it. This seminar is all about hair, and how you can use it to create one of the hottest scenes you have ever seen. So, if you have ever desired to use hair in an unusual way in the scene, you will not want to miss this seminar.
